Pledge Brother and Alumni (PBA)
Hockey Game of 2026
On Saturday, 21 FEB 2026, the alumni and undergraduates came together to celebrate our long tradition of skating at the Field House after the Big Red Freakout in the Pledge, Brother and Alumni (PBA) hockey contest.
In honor of the alumnus responsible for organizing and keeping this event going, the Board has renamed it the "Jim Flaherty #383 PBA" Thank you, Jim, for your enthusiasm for the sport and honoring its history at RPI Acacia.
We will do everything we can to get the word out in advance of next year's event and keep growing the number of participants.

The active chapter had an amazing time at PBA! At the house we hung out, talked, and played games (and ate a pineapple). We went to Famous for lunch and Brown’s for early dinner in Downtown Troy.
And then of course we watched the Big Red Freakout hockey game. It started out slow, and the referees were terrible at their job, but in the end RPI destroyed Harvard with a final score of 3 to 1! To finish off the day, we reserved the ice to skate and play some hockey after the big game, which was a blast.
